Russell Johnson, Construction Management Trainee (CMT) Graduate
Russ started with Watson Electrical in the Greenville, NC office in September 2005 and began the apprenticeship program in the same year. He left in 2008 to finish his degree at East Carolina University in Construction Management. He returned to Watson in the Raleigh, NC office in 2013 and started back in the apprenticeship program that same year. He won the NC State Fair competition in 2014, and placed third in the ABC National Competition in 2015. Russ graduated from the apprenticeship program in 2015, then entered the CMT program. He spent 1 year in estimating, 1 year in project management, and graduated the from CMT program in May of 2017.

Congratulation to Devin Viehwig (Raleigh) and Oliver Crawford (Multi-Family), Watson Electrical’s newest Apprentice Program Graduates!
Charlotte - Viehwig and Crawford celebrated their completion of the Watson Electrical Construction (WECC) Apprentice Program with a graduation ceremony hosted by the Associated Builders and Contractor Association in Charlotte, NC. Viehwig and Crawford continue to build a solid career with WECC and are now Journeymen Electricians.
The Apprentice Program is a four-year program that combines curriculum course work and on-the-job training. The program is operated under the Standards of Apprenticeship and registered with North Carolina, Virginia, and U.S. Departments of Labor. It’s ideal for veterans and those...
