3800 Glenwood – Raleigh, NC
Awarded by Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC. Construction of a 5- story core and shell office building adjacent to a stand-alone, 3 story precast parking garage. The structural system of the office building is steel. The exterior skin of the office building is primarily brick, aluminum and glass curtainwall, and metal panels. The office building is 118,000 SF and the parking garage is 104,440 SF. Our scope of work consists of installation of a complete electrical system including a 3,000A, 480/277V service, and 125kw generator. The project will consist of LED lighting for all the core areas. The core areas will also have a complete fire alarm system along with a rescue assistance system.
Tidewater Storage Phase II Expansion – Norfolk, VA
Awarded by Peter Segaloff. This will be the 4th project we have performed for this owner. Phase 1 was constructed by Watson Electrical in 2008 and the electrical systems were designed with this addition in consideration. As with the other projects, we acted in a Design-Build capacity, taking into account the owners needs and incorporating some newer technology. This expansion will add three stories and 42,466 SF of conditioned, interior storage which increases the total square footage of the facility to 121,442 SF. Electrical and fire alarm systems will be extensions from the Phase 1 project. This phase incorporates 3, large, off- loading bays, 2 full sized elevators and (12) HVAC split systems. Currently, the slab has been poured, stair and elevator towers have been constructed and first level steel is being erected.
The Pines – Healthcare & Community Center – Davidson, NC
Awarded by Rodgers Builders. The community center addition & renovation is an approximately 52,000 SF, 2-story addition for assembly use, offices, miscellaneous support spaces, enclosure of an existing roof terrace for dinning use, renovations to the existing Davidson room, dining area for expanded and multi-venue dining experiences, and additions and renovations to the existing game room. We will be providing updated LED lighting with a Lutron control system and general power throughout the facility which is fed by an existing 2000 amp service. The Healthcare Facility is a 2-story addition to an existing 1-story healthcare building, interior renovations to a new entrance and renovations to an existing assisted living dining room, which is approximately 36,000 square feet. Our work consists of installation of a 1600A service and a 350KW emergency diesel generator with LED lighting and general healthcare power provisions throughout the facility.
The Pines – Villas – Davidson, NC
Awarded by Rodgers Builders. Apartment building, four stores with light metal gauge construction with wood roof trusses over podium basement for an open parking garage. The Villas are two, four story apartment buildings both approximately 36,000 SF. Our work consists of the installation of two, 1200A services, one 250KW diesel emergency generator, LED lighting, and general power throughout each floor.
The Pines – Site Improvements – Davidson, NC
Awarded by Rodgers Builders. Site Improvements throughout the campus mainly consisting of adding site lighting, pole lights, and bollards.
Gum Branch Road Signal Upgrade – Jacksonville, NC
Awarded by Barnhill Contracting Company. The project consists of the removal of an existing metal pole intersection and replacing with a decorative mast arm metal pole intersection.
UNCW Dobo Hall Demolition – Wilmington, NC
Awarded by Balfour Beatty Construction. Project scope consists of 12,000 square feet of make safe demolition which includes the removal of the existing generator. The project will make way for future classroom space which will be bid and awarded separately.
Renovation of PAAF 288 – Fort Bragg, NC
Awarded by VCA (Veterans Construction Alliance, LLC). This is an existing barracks that is roughly 26,400 SF with new fire alarm, wireless keypad access and new fixtures.
UNCSA Old Library Renovation – Winston-Salem, NC
Awarded by Davie Construction Company. The UNCSA project is a 28,897 square foot, three story, renovation of the old library with classrooms, dance studio’s, conference rooms, event space and office space. The electrical work consists of making safe for the demolition contractor, new electrical service, electrical panel rooms on all three floors, light fixtures, power outlets, data, fire alarm system, and site lighting for the newly renovated spaces.
Lorick Place Apartments – Columbia, SC
Awarded by Liberty Solutions Company. There are 7 wood framed, walk-up, garden style, 3 level buildings with a total of 87 units total and1 clubhouse. The project is a total of 98,367 SF. Our scope of work consists of installation of a complete electrical system in the units and common areas of the 7 buildings and clubhouse. The install will be all Romex wire, Cat5e for all low voltage.
