Join the Construction Management Training Program

Our construction management training aims to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge required to manage construction projects successfully. We accomplish this by equipping individuals with the tools and techniques to succeed.

A goal of our CMT program is that you can manage a wide range of construction projects. Ensuring the project completes on time, within budget, and with quality standards met.

The program covers a range of topics, including:

  • Project planning
  • Scheduling
  • Cost estimation
  • Contract administration
  • Risk management

Construction projects are often complex and involve multiple stakeholders. Because of this, projects require careful management to ensure project success. Additionally, leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, and teamwork are the backbone of CMT.

Leadership and Your Team

Being a leader involves being able to set clear goals and expectations, as well as delegating responsibilities and providing feedback. But, more importantly, it motivates and inspires others to be the best.

As a construction manager, part of your job will be making decisions. First, it’s gathering and analyzing the details of a situation. Then, it identifies and implements the best solutions for the project and the team. As you learn, we guide you through this process.

Problem-solving develops the ability to identify the root cause of a problem, then generate, evaluate, and implement the best solution. Once the issue resolves, analyzing the results will help you and your team learn from the experience.

Working together as a team is fundamental to electrical construction. CMT focuses on communicating effectively, building trust, and the art of collaborating.

Inevitably, conflict can happen. Learning to listen to all sides of a situation helps build the team’s trust with their manager. Identifying the source of the issue, evaluating, and implementing the solutions are vital to managing a team.

Overall, construction management training teaches and helps you develop the skills and knowledge you need to manage construction projects successfully.
