The Newport News Shipyard Carrier Refueling Overhaul Workcenter (CROW) Facility is a new 100,000 square-foot building that will provide modern, mission-critical workspaces for sailors and shipbuilders supporting aircraft carriers undergoing Refueling and Complex Overhaul. With the first ship scheduled to arrive in May 2026, the facility is on a tight timeline to be fully operational by that date. Watson’s scope of work includes installing underground, concrete-encased duct banks for electrical service and OSP communications rerouting. In addition, we’re providing vertical electrical distribution and a fully functional fire alarm system to support the facility’s high-performance demands.
