New Commercial Construction Project in Wilson, NC
We’re excited to share that Watson Electrical has been awarded the Wilson Community College Biomanufacturing Education and Skills Training (BEST) Center project through Barnhill Contracting Company. This state-of-the-art, 29,600-square-foot facility will play a key role in preparing students for high-demand careers in the region’s fast-growing life sciences sector.
The BEST Center will be a hub for hands-on learning, featuring classrooms, bench-scale laboratories, and bioprocessing suites that replicate a real-world manufacturing environment. With the latest technology and equipment, students will gain practical experience that directly translates to workforce readiness — supporting both individual career growth and the economic development of Eastern North Carolina.
Expected to open in January 2027, the facility marks an important investment in the future of biomanufacturing education and training. Our team is proud to help bring this vision to life and looks forward to getting to work on this exciting and impactful project.
