Apprenticeship Training

Apprenticeship Training

Under our standards, apprentices are required to complete 8,000 on-the-job training hours and 642.5 hours of related instruction for electrical apprenticeships.

On-the-job training is conducted under the immediate direction of supervisors who are qualified journeymen and division training supervisors.

Training Supervisors in each division administer monthly written and performance tests. Written tests require a passing grade of 70%. Our program not only prepares highly-skilled craftsmen, it helps them understand the “why” of their work. Benefits include raises, promotions and VA benefits (if applicable).
