New Commercial Construction Project in Norfolk, VA
We’re excited to announce our first partnership with MEB Contracting on the new Norfolk Recreation and Library Center — a 107,000-square-foot, two-story facility that will serve as a state-of-the-art hub for the community. Designed to provide opportunities for recreation, wellness, and lifelong learning — this center will feature a wide range of amenities for residents of all ages.
Inside, the facility will include a natatorium with an 8-lane competition pool, lazy river, splash park, therapy pool, and a second-level viewing area. Families and community members will enjoy dedicated meeting and party rooms, a multi-purpose gym with bleacher seating, and expansive fitness and cardio spaces on both floors. A full-size public library will anchor the center, complete with media resources, computer labs, breakout spaces, and administrative support areas.
The outdoor site will be just as dynamic, featuring multi-purpose athletic fields, tennis and pickleball courts, outdoor fitness and obstacle courses, playgrounds for multiple age groups, picnic areas, walking paths, and ample parking.
