New Commercial Construction Project in Whitsett, NC
Construction is underway on the new Peacehaven Community Center, a 22,000+ square foot facility being delivered in partnership with Blum Construction for Peacehaven Farm. This project represents a significant expansion of Peacehaven Farm’s mission-driven campus and will serve as a central hub for connection, education, and community engagement.
Peacehaven Farm is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities by providing safe, secure housing and a wide range of supportive programs. The new Community Center is designed to further that mission by creating a flexible space where events, educational opportunities, and programming can grow alongside the needs of those it serves.
The building will accommodate gatherings, learning initiatives, and community activities, offering an inclusive environment that supports both personal development and social connection. By centralizing these functions into a purpose-built facility, the Community Center will enhance Peacehaven Farm’s ability to host events and expand its program offerings.
Blum Construction is serving as the general contractor for the project, coordinating the development of the facility to meet both functional and accessibility needs. The electrical scope includes basic electrical infrastructure, lighting systems, power distribution, and fire alarm systems to support safe, efficient building operations.
Once complete, the Peacehaven Community Center will stand as an important addition to the Peacehaven Farm campus — providing the space and infrastructure needed to foster learning, growth, and meaningful community experiences.
