As the first phase of a major redevelopment initiative, the new 105,000-square-foot New Hanover County Government Center sets a new standard for civic infrastructure in the region. Located in the heart of Wilmington, this state-of-the-art facility brings together 19 County departments under one roof and features critical spaces such as a 911 Emergency Communications Center, Emergency Operations Center, dedicated meeting and training rooms, and an on-site employee health center. Designed with efficiency, functionality, and the future in mind, this project marks a significant step forward in serving the needs of both County employees and the community.
